About me ...
HI!! I'm Debbie Tropiano, born on
April 17
in Las Vegas, Nevada as
Debbie Keyes. I have two brothers Mike and Dave (but they don't have
home pages, so I can't make pointers to them).
Professional life
I attended the University of Nevada,
Las Vegas (UNLV) for my entire college career which got me
a BS in computer science and an all-but-project-masters-degree (that's
all of the coursework, but none of the project for my MS).
MCC brought me to Austin in 1990 and my last employment in the computer industry was at the
Applied Research Labs of the
University of Texas at Austin (ARLUT) as a Unix Systems' Administrator (I'm currently in the midst of a career change).
My "new" family...
On April 22, 1994, I married the most wonderful man in the world
Lenny Tropiano who has two
wonderful shelties. Adding in my two dogs, together Lenny and I have
four dogs, but as we all
get older, some of the dogs have since departed our family (we have two new ones now but they don't have webpages yet).
My "recent" family...
On August 17, 1995, my son was born ...
Nathan Elliot Tropiano is the most beautiful baby in the world. Who's
prejudice?
On October 25, 2001, my daughter
Sara Elizabeth Tropiano was born, but died less than two weeks later from
complications resulting from CHARGE Syndrome and her heart surgery.
On September 26, 2002, we adopted our daughter Leah Alyona Tropiano from Taldy-Korgan, Kazakhstan. She turned one year old on October 17, 2002.
